This is one feline who loves water.

Amelia the cat and human sailor Liz Clark are sailing around the world together — and if Clark's Instagram account is any indication, they're having the time of their lives.

Clark, who adopted Amelia when the cat was only six months old, long dreamed of sailing solo around the globe. After spending nearly two years restoring an old boat built in the 1960s, she was finally ready to take off — with one small modification.

She wouldn't be traveling alone. Instead, Amelia would be her first mate.

And since the two set sail in 2006, Amelia, who is also called "Tropicat," has proven herself pretty seaworthy. She even fishes for herself, swiping at the water from atop a soft surfboard attached to the boat.

And in the name of sustainability, Amelia loves to hang out in Clark's woven, reusable shopping bags.

The two have also had plenty of adventures on dry land, including hiking, climbing trees and hanging out on the beach.
